MG Comet EV 2023
MG Motors India launched its much-awaited electric car EV Comet with a price tag of Rs. 7,98,000 (Ex-showroom). This price range makes it one of the most affordable electric cars in the Indian market.
Sleek and futuristic design
The Comet EV has a 10.25-inch floating dual screen What makes it more attractive is the Comet EV’s dashboard, which offers a touchscreen infotainment system and a driver’s display with different widgets and customizable pages. The brushed silver element on the dash houses the air conditioning vents, while the rotary knobs and the switch for Eco/Sports mode are located.
MG Comet EV range and battery
The Comet EV will have the same battery options as the Wuling Air EV. It has a 17.3kWh prismatic cell battery that offers a claimed range of 230km. It also has an IP67-rated battery that can provide resistance to water and dust.

Size
Built on the Global Small Electric Vehicle platform, very popular in China, this new model comes with options for 2- and 4-seater variants. The foreign model, which measures 2,599 mm in length and 1,505 mm in width, also has a long wheelbase variant with a length of 2,974 mm and a width of 1,631 mm.
As MG Motor prepares to introduce this innovative model to the Indian market, the question on everyone’s mind is whether it will be offered in the same compact size or in a new tailored version.

test drive and booking
During the launch event, the company said that it will start test-driving on April 27 and its reservation will go live from May 15, 2023.
