After a recent spying incident with MG Air became known, the company is now cautious and has revealed the name of its New hatchback electric car. YoIt’s called “Comet EV” and may be available on the market in mid-2023 with an expected price of around Rs. 10 lakhs
The hatchback car has the intra-city capability and will be based on sister brand Wuling’s Air EV, currently sold in markets including Indonesia. Come let’s see some specifications of “Comet EV”

The square shape allows for a surprisingly spacious interior. The car has a two-tone finish to the front fascia, a tall, stubby nose, and a wraparound stripe below the windshield with LED lighting elements that terminate in the exterior rearview mirrors. Small wheels pushed to the edges and asymmetrical two-tone paint finish window line stand out in profile, while the rear has been designed to mimic the front fascia.
We can expect the car to have a dual-screen infotainment setup made up of two 10.25-inch screens. Voice commands, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and even a sunroof can also come in handy.
Range and battery capacity
The Comet EV is powered by a battery with a capacity of around 20-25kWh, locally sourced from Tata AutoComp, which is expected to give the car a driving range of up to 300km. The Comet is also expected to be powered by a single engine on the front axle with a power output of around 68 hp.
