Ola Electric, the country’s leading E2W maker, is preparing to launch a new electric scooter in the Indian market. It intends to launch the S1X, an entry-level electric scooter with a starting price of less than Rs 1 lakh.
The Ola S1X is expected to be unveiled on August 15, 2023, Independence Day.
Ola had recently shown up the S1 Air, which was already less expensive than the majority of its competitors.
The S1X will be priced under Rs 1 lakh, making it Ola’s most cheap scooter. This approach is consistent with their objective of making electric vehicles more affordable and appealing to a broader spectrum of consumers.
As of yet, no product information has been released by the company. However, as the launch date nears, additional information about the S1X, like as its pricing, characteristics, range, and so on, is expected to be teased.
Ola’s presentation emphasized the new S1X as an ‘ICE killer,’ implying the demise of ICE scooters. This launch is another step forward in Ola’s quest to take over the Indian electric vehicle sector and make green mobility a reality for everyone.
