Super73 Electric Bikes: Fast Charging Motorcycle

Southern California-based electric bike company SUPER73 It’s been pretty busy lately, at least if the triple whammy of an announcement today is any indication. The company released a new line of off-road electric bikes, new balance bikes for kids, and new information about the upcoming C1X electric motorcycle.

SUPER73 adventure series

The SUPER73 Adventure series is an update to the company’s existing model lines, adding harder tires and, in some cases, additional suspension, among other new components. According to the company, “Every SUPER73 Adventure Series model comes standard with more aggressive SUPER73 GRZLY tires, an extended performance seat with vinyl grip for added comfort, a front and rear light, fenders, and battery relocation to the down tube. for the S and R models, they give them a lower center of gravity for better handling.”

All Adventure series bikes will also come standard with an 8-speed cassette, which is sure to make those off-road hill climbs a lot easier, at least when you opt to use the pedals.

According to SUPER73 CEO LeGrand Crewse, the new line was developed by listening to customer feedback:

SUPER73 K1D Kids Electric Balance Bikes

Super73, first introduced over a year ago, is finally ready to launch its K1D line of kids’ balance bikes.

According to the company, these small two-wheelers feature a design that was influenced by the BMX and Motocross culture of the ’80s. They offer a 60-minute playtime thanks to the battery and small electric motor.

That little battery uses LiFePO4 cells, which are virtually fireproof and offer more than twice the lifespan. That means your child is sure to outgrow the bike long before the battery needs to be replaced.

In another nod to safety, the K1D features regenerative braking to deliver harder stops and recharge the battery at the same time. A low and medium power mode selector allows young riders to slowly build their skills, while a parent can unlock a third “Trail Mode” for the highest power level.

Crewse boasts of the diminutive bike’s safety- and performance-focused design:

The launch of the K1D gives us a whole new customer base of young aspiring riders and we are thrilled to be leading the charge in our industry.”

The electric motorcycle SUEPR73 C1X will have super fast charging

We’ve been hearing much about faster charging for electric motorcycles lately, and it looks like SUPER73 is going for the fast-charging jackpot.

Until now, we knew the bike would feature highway-grade speeds and a city range of around 100 miles (160 km). But now we’re getting some new information on expected load times, and they’re pretty impressive.

According to the company, the C1X should be able to charge from 10% to 80% in just 15 minutes, giving riders about 70 miles (112 km) of range in a little more time than it took to read this article.

The new technology and its integration into the bike were made possible through the efforts of SUPER73 to hire a team of engineers with experience in manufacturing top-tier electric vehicles, aerospace mechanics, and consumer electronics.

As Crewse added:

“I am incredibly proud of the dedication our team has shown to bring the C1X to life. The secret behind our innovation is the belief that the user experience should always be the guiding principle behind everything we create, and our electric motorcycle is no exception. This year, we set out to prove that you don’t have to break the bank to take advantage of cutting-edge technology. Our users can now enjoy the benefits of fast charging in a more affordable and affordable package with the C1X.”

Development of the C1X will continue throughout this year, with the company expecting to deliver the first production units in 2024. Upon launch, the C1X will likely challenge recently released or upcoming light-duty electric motorcycles such as the SONDORS Metacycle, Ryvid Anthem, and CSC RX1E.
